of our new home have been different to those that I expected. I was
looking forward to enjoying the view and having our own place again, but
hadn't thought much beyond that.
From our loungeroom windows alone we've seen:
- wallabies (lots of them), even as close as our swingset
- kangaroos
- hares
- eagles and kites gliding on the updraft currents at the cliff edge of our backyard
- people having their wedding photos taken on the block next door
- people riding horses practising polocrosse, and
- lots of gorgeous sunsets
A constant reminder of the beauty of God's creation all from our lounge
chairs...we are so thankful!

Rather excited...
would be a major understatement! This little miss has been hanging out for the start of school since mid-last year and was busting to get there on her first day. The clock hands couldn't move quickly enough. She had us organised with a healthy lunch and helped pack it the night before (she tried for 3 days earlier but I managed to convince her that it would be better a tad fresher...)
Of course there were no tears, just a dash of over-exuberance and a confident entry to introduce herself to her teacher. Miss Olivia loved her first week and can't wait for more...despite being one of the youngest, she's also the tallest (by nearly a head of many of the others) and super confident, a fact for which we are most grateful!
Each afternoon now we have to plan and pack the next days lunch...I hope the enthusiasm to be up and organised lasts for the next 13 years!!!!
We're so proud of you Miss Olivia and thank God for you every day.
