The now traditional last minute birthday sign painted by non-artistic Mummy...
The also now traditional room full of balloons to start the day
Two crazy cuddlers
and one very wonderful birthday girl!
It's happened - our little one is four now, and champing at the bit to be five already. In fact one of her earliest questions of the day (and there are always many!) was how many weeks until my next birthday - told 52, she replied - "Hmmm, that's what I thought" and tucked back into her 'special breakfast' request of pancakes, eggs, ham and hash browns....yep, we were up early today! (And God put on a most amazing sunrise for us as well....she was delighted!)
In fact, Olivia is always a delight, keeping me on my toes and never letting me get too comfortable on a topic before there's a curly question thrown my way. She's inquisitive, sensitive, has a delightful sense of humour and a tender heart that cares for others...all in all a special little girl who brightens our days.
My favourite mispronounced phrases from Olivia at 3...sure to disappear soon...
- 'Mary and Jofess' (Joseph) which she has delightfully mispronounced for a couple of years now
- 'Well, we weren't respecting that were we Mummy?' (expecting)
