Winter up the hill

We are now officially residents of a comparatively colder city, and to be honest, thus far it hasn't been as cold as we expected, although the girls did take the opportunity to don their new beanies in preparation for an outing - entirely unnecessary, but apparently when you own something new, you need to maximise it's use!

Our first week was full of meeting new people, attending two playgroups, getting assessed for swimming lessons at our new swim school, finding heaps of great parks (they are everywhere - we haven't visited the same one twice yet, and we've been to heaps!) and getting the hoped for phone call that the C&K we had put their names down at will have a place for them starting in a week or so. It's been busy, but fun.

I have a few more weeks of holiday, and perhaps some more after that, so we have big plans for exploring the area. We've already visited the Tourist Info centre and found heaps of great places to visit and explore - so planning on attacking some of those next week while Daddy is at work.
