Painting, an easy way to fill a lot of time.
It doesn't seem to matter what type, medium, method, whether it's a free design or painting over an outline - it's all very popular in our house. I leave Kindy each time with arms full of 'art' created that day, while other parents seem to get off very lightly indeed!!
The girls were enjoying a spot of water painting with Winnie the Pooh the other day on our outdoor table - the fridge can't take anymore... we've had to set a timeline for items to be displayed, dictated primarily by how much more is in the holding pattern behind it!
