Roar

I think I've mentioned before that I'm a sports fan - I've long since
hung up my boots, but still love to spectate...a fact which Greg seems
to enjoy, except when it comes to soccer (not his thing!). Tonight I
was surprised with a ticket to the Qld Roar vs Sydney FC game courtesy
of good friends, and had a ball. I also admit that afterwards I was
itching to pull on the old, rather smelly boots that are still packed
away in a box around here somewhere, and to get out the ball for another
belt around the house at the very least. The fact that they won 3-1,
with a goal in the final seconds of the game was a bonus. Thanks Bear
and Phil for thinking of me and taking me - I loved it!
