The view wasn't bad from our lunch spot - the dam is still well below capacity - aren't they all!
Mummy slip sliding away - Ellen tried this too, but her legs weren't quite long enough...won't be long though
The tree was a hit, and a great spot for photos too
Just a further note - for a very quiet camping experience, with a freshwater lake - we thought it was worth a try. We still have the small sail boat for the girls that has really only had one true outing so far with Ellen in it, and they are far closer to the age when they can start to take the reins, so it looks like a good venue - not many people at all, very few things that are obstacles, and the dam isn't too big, so it's not too daunting, even with Mum in the boat...
Anyway, hopefully when we get ourselves sorted out with where we're living etc. we'll be able to give it a try (and hopefully there will still be water in it by then!!)
