on his agenda was building a fort for the girls. It took a few weekends
and a few trips to Bunnings, Peppertown and a garage sale to put it all
together, but finally the nearly finished product. It's morphed from the
original blueprint as we came across bargains, new ideas and were given
things to add on to the fort, and finally it's ready to play on.
Future additions when we get around to it include a big slide from the
top platform, the holds for the climbing wall up the side and a higher
post and top beam for one of the side set of swings to match the other
one - it using our old swingset temporarily. The girls love it, so
weather and time permitting they are out there using it with gusto.
For now it has a rope ladder, trapeze, two normal swings, a stand-up
foot swing, small slide, netball hoop, steering wheel, ladder and
sandpit with hooks for buckets and spades...I think that's enough for
now, don't you?!?!?
