Lauren had her first 'solids' today - some freshly steamed and mashed pumpkin courtesy of a pumpkin that Nanna and Grandad grew in theirbackyard (I guess that makes it organic?). She was rather intrigued with it all, and did her very best to actually get some of it down - another keen eater in the family. A little early at 5 months, but she's been looking for food, trying to eat ours and starting to wake earlier, so we gave it a go and now we're just preparing for the inevitable mess that will accompany mealtimes for the next few years (or so...!).
She's such a happy little vegemite, and soooo loved by her big sisters!

OMG! I can't believe little Lauren is 5 months old already! Can't wait to meet her one day. She's a real little cutie.
