Tummy shuffle and an update

Well, our very relaxed Olivia has finally decided that it's time to get on the move. She's been happy to sit and watch or play with things near her rather than try to get to new things for quite a while now, so we were highly amused when she finally decided to move across the room to get to Ellen's grapes which were on a plate on the floor ready for her afternoon tea. With some interesting shuffling type moves she was there in a short space of time and happily munching away. Obviously food is a far better incentive than anything else that we'd tried to tempt her with! Now life will get more interesting with two of them on the move - even if one is a tad slower...
Oh - in other news, we have just heard that Ellen has a place one day a week in the excellent child care centre near us. It's the one we'd been hoping for, with the huge waiting list because it has such a great reputation...she'll start on Monday 22nd January, and she's very much looking forward to it. We're heading up there for orientation tomorrow morning - I'm really please that she's been accepted there, but also feeling a bit funny about her spending a day away - seems like she's growing up so quickly now. Goodness, imagine what I'll be feeling when she heads off to school!
