My goodness it has been cold over the last week! Given that, we decided to try out the fireplace at our new place to see if it is all in working order (and hopefully not disturb a family of possums in the meantime). So Greg gave it a test run, and then we set a small fire - the excitement on the girls' faces was a picture to behold, so it was all worthwhile, and we rather enjoyed the ambience and heat that it threw around as well. Now I just need to remember to find that packet of marshmellows - it's around here somewhere...
