As promised, a picture of the kitchen - not clean, tidy or even finished, but the benchtop was what held us back from moving in for so long, so thought I should show the proof of it's arrival. Splashback to go now - still deciding on that front... We don't have quite as many boxes and suitcases around this week as last, so it's looking more like a liveable house now (at least in some rooms!).
The second pic is of our beautiful niece's dedication last weekend (she's a delightful little bundle with a lovely happy nature).
And finally, one of our girls with the daughter of a good family friend of mine, who live in Mackay, so it was great to see them again and let the girls play. We had a great time in gorgeous Toowoomba visiting them - it's so nice to be in a place where the leaves really do change colour and fall from the trees - Autumn doesn't mean much in south east Qld otherwise.
In other news, the girls and I are all under the weather - and all for different reasons - the doctors surgery had a few visits from our family last week - add to that a back injury to me, and it's been a looong week. Still, we have so much to be thankful for - can't complain, we are so blessed.
