Midnight munchies

or it should really say Midnight Munchkins. Since we've moved into the new house, the girls are enjoying having their own rooms again and also the freedom of more space. They've also started to play in each others rooms, and sometimes that can be in the middle of the night. Both the girls normally sleep 12 hours each night, but last night we heard voices at about 2am and Greg came out to find Ellen in Olivia's bed, having sent Olivia to the kitchen for food - and down the dark hallway she came, bearing the treasured loaf of bread ready to share the loot. It would have been Ellen's idea and instigation for sure - both the waking up and the food raid, and she's smart enough to send someone else as the fall guy...investigating child gates now!
