Budding artist....

or not?!?! We were visiting Tricia and Jason on Sunday for Jason's birthday and the kids were all playing together beautifully, and then quietly... Ellen disappeared for a while in the midst of it all, and reappeared with Sudocream all over her. Tricia had nearly a full tub there, and most of it was either on Ellen, a chest of drawers, the nappy bin or a cloth Tricia had covering a box. She looked hilarious as you can see, although we were quick to point out that this wasn't to become a repeat event.

Anyway - we were able to clean it all up with no lasting damage to anything, and Ellen is certain not to get nappy rash on her arms now! I think she probably thought that it was suncream, as she is very taken with suncream and loves to rub it on her arms. After all the cleanup had ended Uncle Jason had a lovely birthday dinner and we headed home after a very looong weekend in Brisbane. We were down for the auction of Mum & Dad's house on Saturday, and managed to slot in an hour or two of shopping for Christmas presents in a very targetted fashion. We also walked through a similar floorplan of the new place that they've signed up for (will be ready in April), and then had dinner with a group of old friends. Sunday was Church, followed by the monthly Gittins family lunch and then Jason's birthday dinner. By the time I'd done the pays when we arrived home, I was more than ready for bed.
