The Mainly Music program that we attend had their Christmas breakup yesterday and they paid for us all to go up to a farmstay at Maleny where they have an animal farm for feeding and patting the animals. We had a great morning, with Uncle Stephen and Nanna coming along to help keep us all in line... and help with monitoring the two little people. Ellen was keen to try everything, but some of the more aggressive ducks had her a little wary, while the sheep nearly sent her flying when they ran at her. Her bright yellow sun hat was unfortunately the same colour as the buckets that they put the feed in, so a few sheep thought that she was fair game in the eating stakes. Still, that aside she had a great time feeding the horses carrots etc. and was talking about the 'singing' dog all afternoon. We're looking forward to going back to Mainly Music next year if we can...all depends on what day we manage to get for Ellen for child care next year.
