I turned another year older this week, and so Greg and the girls created the cake after Kindy on the day. It tasted great, and the pink colour wasn't actually supposed to be there, but Greg tried adding a packet of jelly to the cream to thicken it, when whipping didn't work, and eventually (with some extra time in the fridge) came up with this rather tasty alternative to normal icing (which I don't really like normally anyway - too sweet for me). The girls were very excited to help - although as you can see, Olivia was very tired by the end of the evening...
